A year on from the anniversary that scarred their relationship forever, Jean is determined to move on; unable to let go of the past she is confronted with a choice – to save her relationship, or herself.
my creative vision
Throughout this project, my goal was to help facilitate and bring a vision to life. I first heard of Zoe’s idea for Last June at the beginning of 2024 and could immediately see how special it was. I wanted to create space for a much-needed conversation about the often-overlooked issue of sexual assault within relationships.
As producer, I approached this project with deep respect for its sensitive subject matter and its impact on both cast and crew. I also saw my role as a bridge between department heads, working to ensure we all collaborated toward the strongest possible collective vision.
